Quilt for Max

Since Max now has a 'big boy bed,' I was asked to make him a quilt. I was honored to do so considering his mother is my best friend and he's my godson. (Not to leave Davey out, he's the first godson!)

His theme is sports. I had TONS of fun looking for just the right fabrics for the front - and for the back!
Here is Eli laying on the 'cover' pretending he is 'night night.' I was clipping threads and preparing the quilt for the trip...

Anyway, I've posted a couple of pics for your viewing pleasure. The quilt made its first leg of the driving journey yesterday. I delivered it to Jen's brother (Chip) so he could take it to Jen and the boys next week in Kansas City.

Love you, Max! Enjoy your quilt! Hope you like it!
