Dressing Eli

Since I leave for work before the boys leave in the morning, I lay out clothes for Eli. That way, Husband can get him dressed in an 'approved way' for the day.

A couple of weeks ago, I laid out a grey long sleeve shirt (onesie) and a white short sleeve shirt with something on the front. (Definitely not an undershirt!) Of course, there were also jeans and socks to complete Eli's outfit for the day.

When I arrived at my parents' house to get Eli after work, I found Eli wearing the white shirt UNDER the grey onesie! What's that about?

Now, on 'two shirt days' I ask Husband which shirt will go beneath which so there's no issue. But why would he think a onesie would go OVER a regular shirt? Too bad I didn't take a picture of Eli's outfit that day!

Two weekends ago I was out of town - I left clothes out for J & J. (I actually did it for Kenzie - as she would be the one in the rush of the day to get them dressed.) Well, Kenzie ended up getting Dad to allow her to spend the night at friends homes all weekend - I came home and the outfits I chose for them on Saturday were still neatly folded on the dresser.
When I met up with the fam at the soccer field - the team parents informed me that one J had now socks on and the other only had one sock on. :) (It was a cold windy weekend) - I was afraid to ask what clothing they had on. I know when I met up with them they didn't have their jackets or snacks - cause that we the first thing they asked for when they saw me. :) Guess that is supposed to make me feel like they missed me. :)
