First Go-Cart Ride

Before Christmas, we were invited to a private party at a big playspace. They have bumper cars, batting cages, an arcade, go carts, putt putt and more. We arrived to find that most of the arcade games Eli was interested in were broken so we thought we'd go find the hosts and head out. We know it wasn't their fault that the kiddie stuff in the arcade was broken but we wanted to let them know we had a little bit of fun. (It's only proper, you know!)

Anyway, we found the wife of the couple easily but had to search for the husband. Turns out, he was near the go-carts AND he started talking them up to Eli! Husband was not at all interested in driving Eli around the track so I got drafted for the job.

Eli was so funny while we drove! He kept waving at Husband/Daddy as we went around the track and kept making noises like the go-cart was making. He also told me, 'This is fun, Mommy!' while we were driving around. It was a super cold night and I was glad the ride was over.
