Because Eli's been complaining that his back hurts after a short ride in his carseat, we got new carseat covers. Here he is, trying out the cover on the floor in the house before it got installed. And, we've been without complaints for almost two weeks until today...now, what do we do?
We went to visit the pumpkin patch after many, many rainy days. Here's a cute pic of Eli on the old truck. We also went on the hayride but Husband was in charge of the camera...'nuff said!
We fed the animals when we got there. We used lots of hand sanitizer after this - My face looks kinda funny 'cause this goat had some stuff (starts with an 's') coming out of his nose that was really, really gross! ewwww!
Eli's Grandma Marie (Husband's mom) came to visit us last weekend with her brother, Uncle David. It was nice to see them and catch up on things. We got some shopping done for Husband's birthday and watched Eli play.
Eli dressed as a dino this Halloween. Actually, he just wore his costume at school and refused to wear it to the town party. So, this picture is a posed one but we do have another one of him from school when he actually wore his costume. Just goes to show that you never know, right? I had planned on making his costume this year but then life got in the way...
We went to the downtown Halloween party. It's sponsored by one of the local churches and there are TONS of bounce houses, games and candy. There's also food and a DJ...anyway, we've been there for the past three years and this year was, by far, the best for us. Eli enjoyed the bounce house for the first time and his skeleton shirt was glowing in the dark so that made the evening that much better.
Eli likes to wear my duck slippers around the house. So, to all you 'naysayers' out there who believed Eli would be afraid of ducks...sorry! Your prediction was WRONG!
One night, after a shower, I caught the boys heading out of the bathroom and heard Eli say, "Carry Eli like a baby, Daddy!"
That's the catch up...see my Dad's blog for more on what's been going on with us. www.grandadgeigersblog.blogspot.com or click on the link 'Dad's blog' on the right.
Blessings!
