A confession and an update

I ran over the bike on Sunday. Yes, that's right - I backed right over it in my car. It was too big for Eli anyway and Husband had decided it would be YEARS before Eli could ride it. So it was waiting on the curb for a friend to come to get it - until I ran into it, dragged it into the street and bent the rim! OOPS! Sorry! But, I laughed so hard that I cried! And, I laughed so much when I told my parents that I cried again! I guess I needed a good laugh?

Even though it was damaged, it still got a new home!

Update on Dad: He went to the ER today because he was having really bad chest pains like a heart attack. The doc did some tests - CT, bloodwork, chest x-ray and something else to determine if it was heart attack or just the cancer making itself known. Couldn't decide without some more blood work at six hour intervals...They decided to keep him overnight to run some more bloodwork and also do an echocardiogram tomorrow. We were just feeling a little 'settled' with radiation coming along and then this! So frustrating!

Mom is at the hospital with Dad tonight and I'll be back in the morning to see if I can help. Thanks to Sherry for keeping Eli for most of the day today so I could be with my parents! What a blessing you are to us! I'm so glad Eli could play with his Aunt Sherry today!

I'm headed upstairs to finish Dad's quilt so I can take it to him tomorrow. Please continue to pray as we continue down this confusing road.

Hi Friend! I lifted you guys up this morning :)
I'm finally on a two week vacation so I will be working around the house...remember I live in Richarson and right down the street from the hospital. If you need anything...anything while your dad is here for radiation, PLEASE call me! -Sally XOXO

Wishing you and your family all the best in this time. I'm not a big one on praying but I will say one for your dad.
